Similan island liveaboard trips last 4 days and leave either from Phuket island on the west coast of Thailand or Thaplamu one and half hours north of Phuket. Travelling overnight they arrive in the Similan islands on the following morning to begin your first days diving. Continuing north over the course of the trip to Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and finally the amazing Richelieu rock. The Thailand  high season on the west coast runs from November to May with a typical Similans liveaboard taking 4 days/4 nights and including 14 dives. With Mermaid there also exists the opportunity to combine your trip with a Hin Daeng / Phi Phi liveaboard on Mermaid II or a Burma liveaboard to the Mergui Archipelago area on Mermaid I to make your trip a full Thailand safari and / or including diving in Burma.
